Book Two of the After series—now newly revised and expanded, Anna Todd’s After fan-fiction racked up 1 billion reads online and captivated readers across the globe. Experience the Internet’s most talked-about book for yourself!
Tessa has everything to lose. Hardin has nothing to lose…except her. AFTER WE COLLIDED…Life will never be the same.
After a tumultuous beginning to their relationship, Tessa and Hardin were on the path to making things work. Tessa knew Hardin could be cruel, but when a bombshell revelation is dropped about the origins of their relationship—and Hardin’s mysterious past—Tessa is beside herself.
Hardin will always be…Hardin. But is he really the deep, thoughtful guy Tessa fell madly in love with despite his angry exterior—or has he been a stranger all along? She wishes she could walk away. It’s just not that easy. Not with the memory of passionate nights spent in his arms. His electric touch. His hungry kisses.
Still, Tessa’s not sure she can endure one more broken promise. She put so much on hold for Hardin—school, friends, her mom, a relationship with a guy who really loved her, and now possibly even a promising new career. She needs to move forward with her life.
Hardin knows he made a mistake, possibly the biggest one of his life. He’s not going down without a fight. But can he change? Will he change…for love?
I was hoping to finish this book before the end of the #RYBSAT Read-A-Thon and I did. I was just like 'self you can get through this book'. I thought with the jump from the first from the second book Tess would leave Hardin, but oh no that didn't happen.
Characters:Tessa: From the cliffhanger and secret that left Tessa in pieces. He wrecked her and he her. But I felt like she should have let him sweat it out a lot longer than she did. I mean the things he said and did I wouldn't tolerate it. It was good to see Tess have a closer relationship with Logan. But Zedd always gave me a creepy feeling and I actually agreed with Hardin on that.
Hardin: He was harsh, brash and rude to Tessa. He was an a roller coaster with his emotions towards Tessa. There were so many times that I was wishing that he would change, but that didn't happen, or at least to happen towards the end. It was good that it was dual POV's, because I really wanted to know why he did some of the crap he did and why he treated Tess like that. There were moments he treated her sweetly at times, but that didn't account for what he did. But I do appreciate the effort he did try to put in.
